Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Snapraven Terms of Use. It applies to every URL, scan, report, account, scanner key, and other use of the Service. You are responsible for users acting through your account.

1. Use only with authority and for lawful purposes

You may use Snapraven only when you are authorized or otherwise have a lawful basis to access the target page, run the audit, process content encountered on the page, and use or share the resulting report. Public availability alone does not guarantee that every proposed use is lawful.

You must respect applicable laws, contracts, intellectual-property and privacy rights, access restrictions, and the target website’s applicable terms.

2. Prohibited targets and content

You must not knowingly use the Service to scan, process, preserve, promote, or distribute content that:

• sexually exploits or abuses children, or constitutes child sexual abuse material;
• is pornographic, sexually explicit, or primarily offers adult services;
• facilitates unlawful gambling, betting, lotteries, or wagering;
• facilitates unlawful or predatory lending, fraud, scams, or deceptive finance;
• promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or credible threats of violence;
• facilitates illegal drugs, unlawful weapons trafficking, or other unlawful goods or services;
• infringes copyright, trademark, trade-secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• unlawfully exposes credentials, financial information, health information, government identifiers, intimate material, or other sensitive personal data;
• is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or intended to intimidate an individual; or
• is otherwise illegal to access, process, reproduce, or distribute.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Service to:

• bypass or attempt to bypass a login, paywall, CAPTCHA, robots restriction, rate limit, IP block, geographic restriction, or other technical control;
• access non-public, internal, private-network, local, metadata-service, or otherwise unauthorized resources, including through redirects or DNS tricks;
• perform penetration testing, vulnerability exploitation, password attacks, credential harvesting, malware delivery, phishing, denial-of-service activity, or any attempt to compromise a target or the Service;
• conduct surveillance, stalking, doxxing, unlawful profiling, or collection of personal data without a valid legal basis;
• run high-volume or repeated scans that impose unreasonable load, disrupt a target, or disregard a target owner’s request to stop;
• probe, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to Snapraven or its providers;
• evade our blocklists, safety controls, quotas, suspension, or enforcement by using alternate accounts, shared keys, proxies, URL shorteners, mirrors, or similar methods;
• resell or sublicense access to the Service unless your plan or a written agreement expressly permits it; or
• use the Service or an Output in violation of sanctions, export controls, or other applicable trade restrictions.

4. Responsible use of reports

You must independently review findings before relying on or distributing a report. You must not:

• describe an automated report as a penetration test, compliance certification, accessibility certification, professional SEO audit, or guarantee;
• intentionally hide the report date or scope, fabricate findings, or alter a report in a way that materially misleads its recipient;
• use a report to make a knowingly false, defamatory, coercive, or deceptive claim about a website or its owner;
• impersonate a target owner, Snapraven, or another person or organization; or
• publish page evidence containing personal, confidential, or copyrighted material when you lack the right or lawful basis to do so.

White-label functionality permits authorized branding; it does not transfer responsibility for a report to Snapraven or authorize misleading attribution.

5. Security research

Snapraven is not offered as a security-testing tool. Do not test Snapraven or a third-party target for vulnerabilities without explicit written authorization and a scope that permits the specific activity. To report a suspected Snapraven vulnerability responsibly, email [email protected] and do not access, alter, retain, or disclose data beyond what is necessary to report it.

6. Enforcement

We may automatically or manually review URLs, usage records, findings, and reports as reasonably necessary to secure the Service, provide support, investigate a complaint, or enforce this AUP. We may refuse a scan, block a target, remove or restrict an Output, throttle usage, preserve relevant records, suspend or terminate an account, and cooperate with authorities when required or permitted by law.

Where appropriate, we may notify you and allow a response. Serious, repeated, or urgent violations may result in action without prior notice. Failure to act in one case does not waive our right to act in another.

7. Reporting violations

Send abuse, copyright, privacy, or unauthorized-scan complaints to [email protected]. Include your contact details, the target URL or report identifier, the right or rule affected, supporting evidence, and the requested action. We may request verification and may share relevant details with the account holder where appropriate.
