Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes activities that are prohibited when using Snapraven (the “Service”). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Use. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms.
We may update this AUP at any time. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, and where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities.
1. General principle
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the rights of others. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your API keys, and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions necessary for any URL or content you submit.
2. Prohibited content and targets
You must not use the Service to capture, generate, process, store, or distribute content that:
- is child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexually exploits minors in any way (this is reported to authorities, without exception);
- is pornographic, obscene, adult, or sexually explicit in any form, including cam, escort, or adult-subscription sites — this is prohibited regardless of its legality in any jurisdiction;
- promotes or facilitates gambling, betting, lotteries, or wagering of any kind (including casino, sportsbook, poker, slots, and togel) — prohibited regardless of its legality in any jurisdiction;
- promotes or facilitates usurious lending or predatory finance, including illegal or unlicensed loan services and interest-based products marketed deceptively;
- promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incitement to violence;
- promotes illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, or other unlawful goods and services;
- infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights;
- violates any person’s privacy or contains personal data you have no lawful basis to process;
- is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or hateful.
3. Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service to:
- access or capture content behind authentication, paywalls, or access controls that you are not authorized to access;
- circumvent technical protection measures, rate limits, IP blocks, CAPTCHAs, or robots.txt directives of target sites in violation of their terms or applicable law;
- conduct large-scale scraping that places an unreasonable load on, or causes harm to, third-party websites or infrastructure;
- distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious code, or use the Service as part of an attack (including DDoS, credential harvesting, or fraud);
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or organization;
- attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems;
- attempt to evade or circumvent our content filters or blocklists (for example via redirectors, URL shorteners, proxies, or mirror domains) in order to process content prohibited by Section 2;
- resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service except as expressly permitted in writing;
- exceed or attempt to bypass your plan quotas, or share API keys to circumvent limits.
4. Respecting third-party sites
When you submit a URL, you are directing our infrastructure to access that site. You represent that doing so is lawful and consistent with the target site’s terms of service. You are solely responsible for any consequences of accessing third-party content.
5. Reporting abuse
If you believe content processed through the Service violates this AUP or your rights (including copyright or privacy), contact us at abuse@snapraven.app with sufficient detail to investigate. We will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing cached Outputs and suspending offending accounts.
6. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:
- investigate suspected violations;
- remove or disable access to offending content or Outputs;
- throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts;
- cooperate with law enforcement and disclose information where legally required.
Our decision to enforce or not enforce any provision of this AUP in a given case does not waive our right to enforce it in any other case.
